Erdoğan: Mother knows best

Another beautiful day for Turkish president Erdoğan to play host in all his palatial glory, this time to Mustafa Akinci, the newly elected president of Northern Cyprus (a region recognized as a separate from the Greek part of the island state only by Turkey, it's financial backer). The meeting was cordial despite the two leaders having had a small spat some days earlier when Erdogan vehemently rejected Akinci's proposal that their relationship should be one of equals and instead said that it should be one of mother and child.
