Erdoğan & the refugee crisis: Who's the boss
In her latest visit to Turkey, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, tried to cajole President Tayyip Erdogan into stemming the refugee flow entering the EU as tentatively agreed upon back in October. Since that deal was struck, the monetary compensation the EU promises Turkey has increased in proportion to the continuing flows reaching the Greek shores and Turkey's inaction.
