Erdogan & Putin: Mending fences

Russian President Putin welcomed his Turkish counterpart in Moscow on Friday for a long awaited meeting. The two leaders decided to overcome their animosity (fueled by taking opposing sides in the Syrian war and exasperated when Turkey shot down a Russian warplane in November of 2015) and come together to fight their common enemies such as ISIS, independent media and democracy.
