Erdoğan: Where there's a will...

Turkish President for-life-if-he-can-help-it Tayyip Erdogan met Kazakhstan's counterpart for the past quarter of a century, Nursultan Nazarbayev, in Astana for a friendly tet-a-tet to discuss bilateral issues like trade turnover, joint transport & construction projects and tips on how to indefinitely hold on to power. Both countries have elections coming up, Kazakhstan on April 26th votes for president (i.e. renewing Nazarbayev rule for another five years as a matter of routine) and Turkey on June 7th for a new parliament (and the chance for Erdogan's party to gain a sufficient majority to constitutionally hand him absolute power once and for all).
