In a Shakespearean turn of events, the family drama in France's right-wing National Front party is escalating. After the party's leader and presidential-hopeful Marine Le Pen, disparaged her father and party-founder Jean-Marie Le Pen for controversial, anti-Semitic remarks and even threaten to prevent him from being a party candidate, the paterfamilias retorted that he would fight such a move tooth and nail and accused his daughter of destroying the movement he made, presumably by backtracking on the party's founding principle of bigotry.
